Manchester area (company based in SK14)

About the Role:
As an IT Support Technician at Insight Media, you'll play a crucial role in our IT team. We're seeking someone with excellent customer service skills and prior experience probably in a 2nd line IT support role. Join us to contribute to our software testing, maintain support documentation, and collaborate on future product developments.
Key Responsibilities:
*    Log and address support calls promptly
*    Investigate, diagnose, and deploy solutions for support requests
*    Support Microsoft technologies: Windows desktop and servers, MS SQL Server, and IIS
*    Respond professionally to queries via email or telephone
*    Contribute to software testing and logging
*    Maintain and evolve support documentation and procedures
*    Collaborate with the helpdesk team on future product developments
The Ideal Candidate:
We're looking for an individual with:
*    Experience in 1st and 2nd line support in Microsoft Windows environments
*    Good knowledge of network hardware and technologies
*    Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
*    Excellent telephone and written communication skills
*    Organised and methodical approach to problem-solving
*    Ability to work independently or as part of a team
*    Full driving licence
