My client, a well established Japanese company is seeking a Japanese speaker to join their existing team.
This role is a 2 year fixed term contract which will most likely be extended.
The role is based in the City of London and is a hybrid position - 2 days at home and 3 days in the office.
There will be yearly appraisals and company bonuses.
There will be a two stage interview process if your CV is considered successful, these will be face to face, so you must be available to interview in person.
Interviews will consist of a written test both in Japanese and English.

JOB PURPOSE :
Responsible for managing relationships between the company and trade customers in the UK, for mainly the Japanese markets. This responsibility includes developing a successful, consistent approach to local and multinational dealing to maximise revenue and minimise the cost of sale. It also includes gaining maximum value from any TMC(Travel Management Company) or corporate agreements.
Engaging in joint sales and marketing activities in order to increase the level and quality of revenue sold through these partners and driving efficiencies in the distribution processes
JOB DIMENSIONS:
The key objective is to drive sales performance in the market through the implementation of Sales strategy across a portfolio of trade and corporate customers maximising revenue contribution in order to exceed revenue targets.
- Complete and continually update Account Development Plans, ensure all action points are actioned in a timely manner.
- Ensure business plans are met and to maximize the most cost effective channels of fulfillment for business sales.
- Solicit new and existing accounts to meet and/or exceed revenue goals through sales calls, written communication, e-mail and telephone solicitation.
- Follow up on leads and business generated by sales calls.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with partners in the airline industry.
WORKING HOURS
37.5 hours per week; 9:00-17:30. When required, the Account Executive will also assist with VIP handling including weekends and before 09:00/after 17:30, which will be compensated by Lieu Time or Staggered Hours
