Junior Finance Manager, Media & Advertising Agency , Central London (Hybrid)

We are looking for an ambitious finance executive for a challenging Junior Finance Manager opportunity with a leading Media & Advertising Agency in London. The ideal candidate is someone ACCA part qualified with relevant previous experience, ideally with media agency but other creative industries canb be considered.  Any experience of using Mediaocean (Prisma) and Access before wiyh be a huge advantage. Full study support provided once successfully passing probation period.

The tasks you would be expected to assist/lead on are below but not limited to (training will be provided for certain areas):

• Assist in the preparation of management accounts across the business.
• Lead two direct reports with their day-to-day work surrounding Accounts Payable and support invoice processing and payment runs in busier months if needed.
• Manage Accounts Receivable and lead the sales invoicing of clientele across the business.
• Manage bank reconciliation for all multicurrency bank accounts & exchange rates within the company monthly.
• Learn how to use Access Financials and be confident in developing existing processes to tailor to business growth.
• Maintain Mediaocean supplier records in Mediaocean and support team in reconciling client and media budgets on Mediaocean.
• Understand how to carry out an aged creditors/debtors analysis and clear down balances
• Oversee and help with any outstanding queries with external suppliers.
• Assist with general queries and credit control where necessary.
• Oversee company credit card transactions and ensure they are accounted for accurately.
• Maintain records of all incoming financial documents
• Liaise with different internal business partners.

  Essential Behaviours/Skills:

  • Confidence, positivity and ability to present yourself amongst internal/external colleagues
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Accounting degree with minimum 2:1 (qualifications in ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Great attention to detail, combined with great organisational skills
  • High level of computer literacy, especially in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability and confidence to learn and apply new skills

  Desirable Skills:

• Previous media agency or media owner experience.

• Strong Accounting Acumen, knowledge of debit and credits alongside balance sheet management
• Numerical and technical aptitude
• Strong attention to detail
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Previous agency experience Knowledge or experience using Access, SAGE, Prisma or DS Accounting.
• Background working across UK and International territories.
