Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts for individual entities in the group
- Reconcile balance sheet control accounts on a monthly basis
- Manage and update the fixed asset register
- Prepare consolidated set of accounts for the group
- Prepare quarterly VAT returns for the individual group entities
- Prepare cash flow statements for the group
- Deal with debt covenants
- Manage stakeholder relationships
- Oversee management accountant, credit control, and AP clerk
- Perform other ad hoc tasks relating to the finance department as required
Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified or part-qualified or studying towards ACCA/CIMA qualification
- Strong grasp of monthly management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) is a plus
