What you will be doing
We are seeking a talented Junior Graphic Designer to join our growing team. As the Junior Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for supporting with the design and development of visual materials for Connexin.
Reporting to the Graphic Design Manager, this role will support the creative design, campaign and sales collaterals delivery across all customer touchpoints for all business units. This includes marketing campaigns (leaflets, direct mail, out of home), digital channels including the website, customer emails and assets for digital marketing, and any collaterals to support sales team to drive sales.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for creative design with a keen eye for detail and enthusiasm to work as part of a fast-moving environment. You must have some design experience including Photoshop and Illustrator and be able to respond to a brief with a range of creative ideas supported by clear thinking and a high standard of finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Branding and Visual Identity: Collaborate with the marketing team to establish and maintain a consistent visual identity across all channels, ensuring brand guidelines are followed consistently.
- Support the Graphic Design Manager in the delivery for marketing and promotional materials, including digital assets, print material, sponsorship assets, packaging, presentations and other visual elements from conception to completion.
- Collaborate with various teams, including marketing, product team, and sales, to understand their design needs and develop effective creative solutions.
- Gather requirements, understand project objectives and ensure seamless execution of design projects.
- Work alongside our creative agencies and internal stakeholder providing guidance, support and feedback to ensure high-quality output and timely project delivery.
- Stay up to date with design trends, emerging technologies and industry advancements, bringing fresh ideas and an innovative approach to our creative process.
- Where necessary, support in the copywriting across platforms in conjunction with Marketing and trading teams.
Essential qualifications and experience
- Minimum 1-2 years experience as a Graphic Designer in a fast-paced environment
- Strong design skills, a thorough understanding of design systems and portfolio demonstrating creativity, technical ability and range.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro) and front-end development (HTML and CSS).
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation and time management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders in a hybrid environment.
- An eagerness to learn multiple creative disciplines, expand your skills beyond visual design and gain exposure to various stakeholders that carry a wide range of expertise in their respective industries.
