Responsible to a designated Finance Manager but also supporting the rest of the team you will provide a key contribution, producing financial reports, data analysis, variance analysis, attending budget holder meetings and ensuring delivery of a robust month end process including the uploading of journals including accruals and prepayments.
Main duties of the job
You will be expected to make an active contribution into the running of the Finance department and deputise as and when required for other Management Accountants within the team. You will have strong organisational skills, the ability to wok to tight deadlines and be able to communicate effectively with both financial and non-financial staff.
The post holder will be based at 250 Euston Road in offices across the road from the main hospital site and there will also be the flexibility to work remotely for part of the working week.

Knowledge and Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Studying towards CCAB / CIMA qualification or equivalent experience with desire to progress
- Computer Literacy in packages such as Excel and Word. Expected to design and create reports using financial spreadsheets and databases
- Possess numeracy & literacy skills - up to 'A level or equivalent
