My client is one of the largest financial institutions headquartered in Japan, with an established presence across all consumer and corporate banking businesses. Through its subsidiaries and affiliates, they offer a diverse range of financial services, including commercial banking, leasing, securities, credit card, consumer finance and other services.
They are looking for a Junior Project Manager to join the team to support with a high profile HR project within the bank. This role sits within the Corporate Systems team of Cross Products Platforms group. The Corporate Systems team delivers applications with horizontal reach across the bank, serving a diverse customer group. In this role you will be working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, however flexibility is required. You will be based in their London office 2-3 days a week, with the remainder of time working from home. They are looking for someone to join the team on an initial contract to the end of December 2024 with the possibility of extension.
In this role you will be accountable for Project Management of the Integration workstream within the EMEA HR Service Transformation Programme. You will contribute to the successful integration of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, to other Saas applications, successful integration to internal Bank applications and will project manage the replication of the current interfaces from other organisational systems to Oracle EBS HR to SuccessFactors Employee Central.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Accountable for Project Management of the Integration workstream within the EMEA HR Service Transformation Programme.
- Manage internal resource pools to deliver integrations between the following applications;
HR SaaS applications - SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central; Ingentis; Qualtrics; ServiceNow. - Bank Enterprise applications & Services - Azure Active Directory, Azure Cloud components incl. Azure Data Factory, Identity & Access Management components, Downstream Bank Applications.
- Provides the appropriate Project Management business expertise for an EMEA wide SuccessFactors Employee Central Implementation with consideration to other modules such as Onboarding, Recruiting, Reporting, Learning, Compensation and Goals/Performance.
- Accountable for developing, maintaining and tracking the Project Plan for the Integration workstream within the wider programme.
- Ensures that any project change has appropriate governance, transparency, and oversight.
- Ensure that the rationale, progress, controls, and decision-making are robustly documented and evidenced to withstand review by internal and external audit and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure compliance with all organisation policies including Change Management & IT Security in relation to any Interface change.
- Support Interface Testing as necessary.
- Accountable for managing the project lifecycle and budget in line with the organisations Project Management Methodology.
- Plan and drive completion of all project deliverables.
- Working with Senior IT PM to identify judge when to escalate risks and issues and their associated mitigation plans to the C-level Project Sponsor.
- Achieve appropriate governance and transparency for the project, liaising with Senior IT PM, members of senior management and external parties so that the appropriate oversight is achieved.
- Ensure that all deliverables achieve compliance for the organisation, are firmly within current market practise and can withstand formal regulatory scrutiny.
- Recognize and rapidly adapt to ongoing change during the project.
- Document internal and external impacts.
- Manage scope, schedule, quality, and risks and issues.
Key Skills & Abilities
- Strong Project Management skills including MS Project
- Strong and demonstrable capability of managing and documenting Risks/Issues and Project Resource Management
- Deep comprehension of interface technologies and respective capabilities.
- Considerable background with the technologies referenced above.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and influence peers and managers, with strong stakeholder management.
- Ability to deal positively with ambiguity.
- Critical thinking and analytical in approach to business challenges
- Numerate, logical, organised, flexible and creative approach to problem solving.
- Acts with highest standards of integrity and fairness to colleagues and clients.
