Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and execute a creative and seasonally Italian-inspired menu.Demonstrate your culinary expertise by preparing and presenting visually stunning and flavour-packed dishes that consistently exceed our repeating customers' expectations.Foster a culture of transparency and open communication within the wider team, assisting in supervising and training junior kitchen staff, maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment, and ensuring that all team members are knowledgeable and skilled in their assigned roles.Embracing, upholding, promoting/sharing our core values & mission statement.Uphold the highest standards of integrity by adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations, ensuring a safe and clean environment for both our staff and guests.Contribute to the successful execution of special events and catering functions, delivering memorable dining experiences that exceed guest expectations.Champion stock management - Oversee the ordering, inventory management, and quality control of all culinary supplies, ensuring proper stock levels and minimising wastage)Monitor food production to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to established recipes, ensuring that presentation and plating standards are consistently met.
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or 1 year of experience as a Sous Chef in a high-end, busy and progressive culinary environment.Strong culinary skills, adept at balancing creativity and innovation with consistency and quality.Knowledge of sustainable and seasonal ingredients.Excellent leadership and communication skills with a can-do attitude.Extensive knowledge of food safety and sanitary procedures, ensuring compliance with UK regulations.Enthusiasm for continuous learning and keeping up with the latest culinary trends and techniques.
