A well-established and market leading POS/retail design agency is looking for a Key Account Manager to lead a brand new multi-million-pound project with a major supermarket. Along with a salary of up to GBP55,000 per annum, you will also receive a Hybrid Working policy (min one day per week in the office), and 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays. You will be working alongside the key client to deliver outstanding project success through high quality fixtures, efficient installation, optimum compliance, and a top class after sales service. You will be leading this large-scale project in its entirety, taking complete ownership of supplier relationships and costs, driving the project through the business with attention to detail, tenacity, and passion. As Key Account Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with both internal teams and external supply base, taking ownership and management of project tasks and actions
- Partnering with internal teams to understand client goals and key performance metrics, exceeding these goals throughout projects
- Managing and reviewing project critical paths to ensure client expectations are met and exceeded
- Working closely with Account Director and Finance, reporting project spend, cost analysis, invoicing, forecasting, meeting project financial objectives by forecasting requirements
- Keeping management informed of the status of client project, problems, plans and meetings, as well as involving Management personnel at key times
- Project status reporting and ongoing evaluation - proactively flagging challenges with urgency and suggesting solutions
- Liaising with suppliers in regard to costs, SLA's, lead times, fabrication, construction methods and QC
- Liaising with clients on and off site for technical and production queries
- Managing installation schedules, and post-installation reporting
- Previous experience in the supermarket industry
- Experience of delivering large scale retail fixture projects
- A Project Management/Account Management background
- Stakeholder management & influencing skills
- Budget management skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience in the Tobacco & Vape industry is significantly advantageous, but not essential.
