Key Accounts Data Analyst
Salary: £24,000 per annum
Location: Iris House, Dock Rd S, Birkenhead, Wirral CH62 4SQ
Role Overview: I am currently seeking a Key Accounts Data Analyst to join my clients team at Iris House, Dock Rd S, Birkenhead, Wirral CH62 4SQ. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Key Account Management team by developing recurring standard and bespoke customer financial and environmental reports. Additionally, the role involves providing commercial support to various teams, ensuring accurate costings and profitability analysis, and assisting with financial mobilisation and compliance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Key Account Management team in developing recurring standard and bespoke customer financial and environmental reports.
- Produce recurring reports to meet KPI deadlines each period.
- Provide commercial support to the KAMs, Tenders, Nationals, and Sales teams, including building and amending profit and loss models.
- Review profitability of various services and identify areas of low margin.
- Assist in the application and checking of price increases.
- Work with accounts and credit control teams to calculate credits and ensure accuracy.
- Ensure financial mobilisation of new work is applied correctly in the company ERP system.
- Aid IT and Finance in checking invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist staff and customers with environmental reports and provide written guides for usage of reports and the portal.
- Fulfil requests for compliance documents and data.
- Ensure accuracy of issued PO's and invoices, and provide backing data as needed.
- Submit financial data for frameworks and ensure submissions match with finance for accrual.
- Liaise with Reports teams regarding problems and changes to Power BI reports and underlying scripts.
- Undertake additional responsibilities or tasks as necessary to meet the evolving needs of the company.
Requirements:
- Advanced Excel knowledge.
- Excellent numerical skills.
- Strong analytical background with a robust problem-solving methodology.
- Basic to intermediate skills in MS Office.
- Ability to listen, understand, and interpret requirements while adhering to processes.
- Logical and organise with excellent time management.
- Ability to prioritise workload, make decisions, and meet challenging deadlines.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to seek self-help when required.
- Good stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Power BI is desirable but not essential.
