Responsibilities:
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assembling dishes
- Support the kitchen staff in cooking and baking tasks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
- Follow food safety guidelines and maintain proper hygiene practices
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals
- Help with catering orders and special events as needed
Skills:
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Strong organizational skills to maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen
- Good communication skills to work effectively with the kitchen team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not required
