A Kitchen Assistant within our friendly team at Chatsworth Kitchen, Peak Village, Rowsley. Working 40 hours a week, 5 days out 7 and predominantly daytime work - a rarity within the hospitality industry! Full training will be given and there is plenty of scope to learn and develop within the role.
As Kitchen Assistant, you will ensure that a clean, hygienic environment is maintained in the kitchen at all times, whilst also providing an adequate supply of clean pans, crockery and cutlery for the kitchen and front of house operations. You will also be helping out in other areas of the kitchen including assisting the chefs with food preparation for our exciting seasonal menu at Chatsworth Kitchen. The position of Kitchen Assistant is the perfect way to learn and forge a career within catering and hospitality. In time, the training provided will help you to progress to sought after positions such as Commis Chef and Chef de Partie where, from here, the sky is the limit!
You should be able to work quickly and efficiently, be self-motivated, with the ability to work well under pressure. No experience is necessary for this role, as full training will be provided. All we ask is that you are an enthusiastic and energetic individual who is willing to learn and works well as part of a dedicated team.
