Salary: NJC Grade D - £24,702 - £26,421 FTE (This will be paid pro-rata to reflect hours and weeks worked)

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead the kitchen at our vibrant primary school at Ashleigh. We are looking for a talented individual, who has great cooking skills along with a passion for preparing fresh food from scratch.
Successful candidates will:
- Manage the day-to-day preparation of meals to a high standard within budget
- Order food and materials
- Maintain a hygienic kitchen
- Effectively manage another member of the kitchen staff
- Promote the service to attract the maximum number of children and positively encourage healthy food choices
- Possess knowledge and experience as a Kitchen Manager along with the minimum of NVQ Level 2 in Catering; Level 3 would be preferable
- Have a proven track record of managing teams and controlling catering budgets
