Exciting opportunity to join the Client Onboarding and Regulatory Services team in Glasgow. The role is within NCNB (New Client New Business), who are responsible for performing Know your client & non-AML checks for new business relationships into the firm. The team support Morgan Stanley's Investment Banking Business Division and Global Capital Market teams as part of the broader onboarding process. Backfill for attrition. Fast paced and dynamic environment requiring individuals to prioritise effectively and work under pressure to meet business demands. Unique opportunity to manage a team, face off directly with senior members of the business unit and forge strong relationships.

What will you be doing?
- Perform Client Due Diligence review in support of the Firm's new client onboarding and existing client regular review in accordance with the applicable regulatory program requirements (such as UK, Germany, Dubai, US, Hong Kong, Singapore KYC requirements and applicable eligibility standards)
- Manage a team of 5 Associates and Analysts
- Prepare client outreach templates and work closely with the IBD Onboarding team and bankers to create a seamless experience for new clients onboarding with Morgan Stanley.
- Update Firm systems and databases with information and documentation as obtained from clients
- Develop SME knowledge on KYC and MiFID regulations along with MS specific requirements in order to provide clear guidance and updates when onboarding new clients.
- Respond to queries from key stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
- Develop a risk based and rational mindset when reviewing clients in order to help manage the often bespoke nature of IBD and GCM deal clients.
- Work closely with Global Financial Crimes (GFC) to communicate bespoke requirements and requests from clients,
- Deliver quality results in a timely manner and within required deadlines/time frames.
- Show an interest in external business news and Morgan Stanley's client base in order to leverage background knowledge of clients.
- Ability to handle volume spikes and prioritize work including ad-hoc requests and projects to meet business demands in a timely manner
- Participate in process improvement initiatives such as technology enhancements, operational process review, and process simplification.

- Experience managing teams within KYC
- Be able to effectively interact with the Business units, Compliance and other key stakeholders and build effective working relationships
- Sound risk and control mindset, excellent judgement and ability to prioritize.
- Ability to work independently and meet the business deadlines with accuracy, handle trouble shooting to mitigate risks
- Problem solving skills to mitigate risks associated with the business.

Located in Glasgow's dynamic International Financial Services District, our office has an open, diverse, thriving company culture. In 2000, we founded our Glasgow office with just six employees.
