SalaryFantastic opportunity for an accomplished Analyst/Scientist who is looking to take a step into an engineering focused position working with chromatography instrumentation.
We are hiring a laboratory Support Engineer for a leading facilities management and professional services provider. As a Laboratory Support Engineer, you will be based on-site with a global pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Hertfordshire. You will be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance of HPLC and GC instruments in accordance with predetermined timeframes and regulatory requirements. In addition to this, you will be responsible for the coordination of 3rd party engineers as well as the completion of associated clerical work to strict quality standards.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A strong laboratory background, with at least 12 months experience undertaking maintenance and troubleshooting of HPLC and/or GC instrumentation
- A good understanding of GxP regulations
- Strong communication and customer facing skills
Applications are also invited from experienced industry Engineers who would be appointed at a senior level, and hold additionally responsibilities in the management of a small team.
