SalaryWe are currently recruiting for a Labourer/Forklift Driver for a minimum of a few months work for our Client in Aberdeen, This will be a 40 hour core week with immediate start.
This is a labour intensive position but a B2 forklift in date certificate is essential.
The main purpose of the role is to provide general labour support to the yard and operate forklift as directed by the department Lead.
The main duties will include but not be limited to:-
Assist in housekeeping on a daily basis.
Undertake more thorough clearing/cleaning of surface debris on a periodic basis.
Maintain the aesthetic standard of CCUs in the touch up paint area.
Remove rust from forklift tunnels.
Ensure that equipment and tools used are properly maintained.
Keep the workplace clean and tidy.
To load and unload containers/tanks from transport in a safe and responsible manner in accordance with the company code of practice at all times.
The safety of others on site, especially those in the vicinity of fork lift truck movements.
Perform other functions as required to suit the needs of the operation.
Qualifications and Experience :-
B2 Counterbalance Forklift License
Ability to use basic hand tools
Strong work ethic
High attention to detail
Good level of fitness as this role is labour intensive
