Landlord Liaison Officer
Salary: £32,652 - £35,000
Location: Ealing with hybrid working
Contract: 12-months fixed term contact, 35 hours per week

Role Overview
We are looking for a Landlord Liaison Officerto join our fantastic Property Services division. The role is to manage the engagement with freeholders for buildings where A2Dominion is not the responsible landlord and liaise with various internal stakeholders on the progress of remediation.
Key responsibilities:
- To adhere to the escalation framework set by Building Projects team in order to deliver excellent standards and performance in relation to regulatory and legal compliance, best practice, innovation and customer service
- Manage our portfolio of buildings and engage with the landlord/freeholder, managing agent, developer and project management teams to confirm; the buildings compliance, what works are required
- Keeping up to date with the programme and ensure the freeholder has made all efforts to try to recover the cost of works via different avenues such as the building safety fund, NHBC or the developer before charging A2Dominion and our residents
- Lead on dialogue with other responsible landlords to obtain necessary documents to comply with the current regulations
- Monitor the progress by producing regular reports highlighting areas of concern to Project Planning & Performance Manager. Review compliance documentation (EWS1 and fire engineers reports) from surveyors and fire engineers to confirm the works requires
- Work with the legal team when there is no engagement from the responsible landlords or dispute over the responsibility for external wall system by providing comprehensive information, documents and evidence
- Provide reports, information and services to relevant internal stakeholders in respect of all matters relating to cladding inspection or remediation where A2Dominion is not responsible party
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally throughout the life of each project and ensure buildings are handed back with joint agreement from residents, internal stakeholders and responsible landlord
- Liaise with responsible landlords to ensure disruption to residents kept to a minimum and that the satisfied level of remedial works is met
- Manage and maintain an accurate recording of all Key Documents
- Ensure enquiries and complaints are logged and responded appropriately in accordance with service standards policies, procedures, statutory regulations and relevant Codes of Practice
More about you
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Maths and English (Grades A*- C)
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to be organised and work methodically with attention to detail to meet targets and deadlines
- Experience using IT systems including Microsoft office packages
- Experience in liaison and consultation with key stakeholders within a complex working environment
- Experience of building relationships to achieve a shared objective
- Ability to adopt a continuous improvement approach and adapt to change
