We are looking for someone to lead a team of specialist Childcare Development Officers to support our internal programme delivery needs and the vibrant Hampshire childcare market at a time of considerable change.
You will work under the guidance of the Childcare Market Manager with a specific brief to maximise the effectiveness of our internal programme delivery requirements, whilst supporting all providers in our childcare market.
You will need to be familiar with the legislative and regulatory frameworks, statutory and non statutory guidance and safeguarding requirements across the entire childcare market.
An understanding of the new expanded Early Years Childcare entitlements is essential as is knowledge of the new requirements for Wraparound childcare and an awareness of the HAF programme.
Your team will help drive our childcare sufficiency duty, enable providers to adapt and grow, develop, and learn from each other and will monitor quality across all forms of childcare.
