Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Management: Oversee Local Authority level contractual delivery ensuring compliance and excellence
- Quality Assurance: Maintain the quality of our tuition delivery through rigorous checks and feedback
- Safeguarding & Compliance: Handle safeguarding concerns and support compliance audits
- Tutor Observations: Conduct observations, evaluating effectiveness, and providing constructive feedback to educators
- Evaluation and Reporting: Prepare detailed observation reports highlighting strengths, areas for improvement, and actionable recommendations
- Tutor Development: Collaborate with Prospero Learning to facilitate specific CPD tutor development and training courses
- Training Development: Identify common areas where tutors need support and develop relevant training courses, in line with contract requirements and best practices
- Data Management: Ensure tutors collect concrete and measurable progress and outcome data, essential for council reporting
- Team Coordination: Ensure teams are informed about contract requirements
- Social Value Delivery: Fulfil social value requirements and build relationships with local initiatives to enhance our social value offerings
- Safeguarding Checks: Conduct checks on tutors' safeguarding levels for contracts
- Exam Facilitation: Arrangement of our exams and learning schemes
- Project Management: Lead and participate in ad hoc projects
Contract Details:
- Location - London
- Start date - ASAP
- Contract type - Permanent
- Full time/part time - Full Time
- Minimum rate of pay - £45,000-£55,000 pa.
Experience, Training and Qualifications required:
- QTS
- Minimum of 3-5 years teaching experience
- Experience conducting classroom observations or instructional coaching is desirable
- Excellent organisational & time management skills
- Effective communication skills & interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of effective teaching practices and behaviour management techniques
- Ability to provide constructive feedback and support tutor development
- Strong understanding of safeguarding concerns
- Excellent analytical and observational skills with attention to detail
- Driver - ability to travel to different locations across UK
- Beneficial to have one or more of the following experiences: SEND Schools, APs, PRUs, CLA/LAC designated teacher, SENDCO, Advisory Teacher / Case Worker within Local Authority
