Overview
Winslow CofE School is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be working in KS2 (years 3 – 6) and would be joining our supportive and friendly school community where pupils are keen to learn and develop.

Hours: 30.42 hours per week (5 days), term time only

About the role
Duties and responsibilities of an LSA include:
- Supporting the vision and values of the school
- Supporting the class teacher and working closely with them to deliver learning
- Preparing the classroom and associated area ready for use
- Assist with the general management of children and resources
- To work with children on specific activities
- Supervise children at break and lunch
- Fostering supportive relationships with the children within the school
About you
The successful candidate should have the following skills:
- A good level of English and Maths
- Sensitivity and understanding to build good relationships with our children
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- An active listener who is proactive and compassionate in their work
- Good interpersonal skills to build a rapport with our children
- Experience of working with children in a learning environment
- The flexibility to work in partnership with all staff
