Special Educational Needs Learning Support Assistant
Newstaff are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Learning Support Assistants to join our team. The successful candidates will cover in school across Milton Kenyes, working closely with students who have a range of special educational needs. Working as a suppy cover LSA offers flexibility to work part or full time and the opportunity to work in different schools and SEN settings.
Responsibilites
- Provide one-on-one support to students with special educational needs,
- Assist students with their learning activities.
- Be creative and able to adapt teaching materials and resources to meet the individual needs of students with different learning abilities and styles.
- Monitor and track the progress of students, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents/carers.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working or caring for students with special educational needs is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of different learning styles and strategies for supporting students with special educational needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
- Relevant qualifications in education, special educational needs, or a related field are advantageous.
