Learning Support Assistant
St. Bede’s is a thriving, successful, popular and friendly Catholic School in Basingstoke with delightful children, a dynamic staff and supportive parents and governors.
We are seeking to appoint a full-time Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support children at our school during the school day. The role will involve working with individuals or groups of children who have varied levels of support needs, including those with SEN. Further details are available on request.
The hours are from 8.45am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday, Term Time only. However, we could be flexible with the hours.

The successful candidate will:
- Have previous successful experience of working with children
- Be able to work as part of a team with a positive, ‘can do’ attitude
- Have excellent communication skills, relating well to children, colleagues and parents
- Have a calm, positive and kind approach
- Be able to work independently and with initiative
- Be resilient, flexible, organised and resourceful
- Be supportive of the Catholic ethos of the school
- Have a clear understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding procedures
- Be comfortable in supporting young children with personal care and hygiene
