Reed Education are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our fantastic team. We are looking for an individual who can work alongside our schools to assist with providing children with the best opportunities possible. As part of this supportive team, you will play a key part in providing a bespoke curriculum to suit the classroom's needs and abilities.
As an Learning Support Assistant, you will:
- Provide dedicated support to students with special educational needs and disabilities, ensuring their access to a personalized and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt classroom activities to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere, promoting the social and emotional development of students.
- Assist in the assessment of students' progress and contribute to the development of strategies to enhance their learning experience.
- Work closely with the school to support holistic development and address individual needs.
The Suitable Candidate will have:
- Previous experience working with students with special educational needs and disabilities is highly desirable.
- Relevant qualifications in education or special education are advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for fostering an inclusive learning environment.
- Ability to adapt to the diverse needs of students and contribute to a positive and supportive school community.
