We are currently working with an alternative provision in Exeter, who are looking to recruit full-time teaching assistants. You would be working with students who have struggled in a mainstream setting and are looking to make significant changes in their education. You will play a crucial role in supporting these students through their education.
The school itself offers an inclusive alternative to mainstream education, working with students who have a variety of needs, both SEMH and SEND. Students have access to outstanding facilities, both off and on-site. Their education comprises of both academic and vocational studies in order to fully prepare them for the next stage in their education and life.
What are we looking for?
- Based in Exeter.
- You must have a clean driving licence and access to a car.
- English and Maths GCSE at grade C or equivalent.
- Previous experience is desirable but not essential.
- You must have a passion for working with those with additional needs.
- An outgoing personality and ability to adapt to new situations.
