Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEMH and SEN, helping them overcome learning barriers and achieve their full potential.
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create and implement individualised learning plans.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes emotional well-being and personal growth.
- Utilise your background in sports or outdoor activities to engage students in physical and recreational activities that contribute to their holistic development.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to teachers and adapting support strategies accordingly.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience working with students with SEMH and SEN is desirable.
- A background in sports or outdoor activities is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Relevant qualifications in education, support work, or related fields.
