Legal Administrator
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £21,000 - £23,000 (depending on experience)
Location: Cheltenham
(The ideal candidate will live within easy commute, in Cheltenham or nearby surrounding areas).

The Role:
We are seeking a skilled Legal Administrator for a permanent position at this fantastic firm. This role is well-suited for an experienced Administrative Assistant from the Legal, Real Estate, or Professional Services Sectors. While direct legal industry experience is not mandatory, this opportunity is ideal for an adept administrator looking to transition into the legal sector. The perfect candidate will possess a strong working knowledge of office environments, demonstrate an understanding of deadlines and confidentiality, exhibit an excellent telephone manner, and thrive in high-pressure situations. IT literacy is also a requirement.

Role Duties:
- All administrative aspects of property transactions including the setup of new files, client on boarding and drafting initial letters.
- Dealing with incoming post, scanning, and saving to our case management system and distributing to fee-earners.
- Arranging for outgoing post to be franked and taken to the franked post box at the end of each day.
- Conducting basic legal research and carrying out AML checks against new clients.
- Providing admin support to both paralegals and fee earners within the residential and commercial property departments.
- Taking phone calls and directing them where appropriate to the intended recipients.
- Dealing with third party office suppliers and arranging for payment of their invoices.
- Keeping on top of office stationery supplies.
- Providing any other duties reasonably asked by the partners - this will include some PA work, involving organising diaries of the two Partners/Co-Founders of the firm, as well as organising other matters such as office stationery and ensuring that anything that needs to be booked is done so in a prompt fashion.
