Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Legal Assistant based in Liverpool. This is a temporary contract working full time hours.
Responsibilities include:

• Provide administrative support to solicitors within child law and child protection legal team
• Prepare and assist with court bundles, tribunal and panel paper, appeals, reports and statements
• Assist with caseload and case management and correspondence, general administrative duties in line with the role
• Occasional infrequent court visits to support solicitors/barristers if required
• Inputting new cases and details onto systems, adding using and relaying communications as required
• Ad hoc duties in line with the grade of the position
  Skills and experience required
  
• Experience working in a legal office is required
• Public sector experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of case management within in a legal setting, managing a caseload in a previous role
• Knowledge of legal systems
• Legal qualification preferred
