Company Overview
You will be a joining a very well-established, prestigious and highly regarded Law Firm as their Legal Cashier on a full-time, permanent basis. Part of a large finance team of 40, you will report into the Cashiers Manager and work closely alongside four other Cashiers in the department. Based in their very modern City of London office 3 days a week, you will have the chance to work from home for the remaining 2 days.
Role Responsibilities
You will be responsible for dealing with all elements of unpaid invoices which includes accurate accounting reviews, checking invoices are ready for posting and preparing and posting payment runs, client and office bank reconciliations, processing office and client receipts, transferring money between matters and between client/office account, allocating reserves, inputting CHAPS/foreign payments and authorising payments accordingly. You will also deal with general queries and inquiries internally and externally.
The Requirements
You will need to have 2-3 years of experience in a Cashiering role within a Law Firm environment. You will have a strong understanding of the SRA Accounts Rules, ideally have experience using Aderant finance system and be confident with the use of Excel to an intermediate level. You will be a confident communicator with the ability to liaise with senior stakeholders across the business. You will be a proactive, willing and enthusiastic individual with an outstanding work ethic and a collaborative approach. You will have a keen eye for a detail and be a cooperative team player.

You will receive an annual salary of up to £40,000 + Benefits and this package will be regularly reviewed to remain in line with market rate.
