Senior Legal Cashier
Monday to Friday 9am – 5:30pm
Up to £25,000 (dependent on experience)
Travel required so Driving licence and own vehicle is a prerequisite.

This is a prime opportunity to join a successful business with an experienced and passionate team,
involved within the legal sector. The business has experienced incredible growth since its inception.
The team needs an experienced Senior Legal Cashier/Management Accountant who has a keen eye
for detail, experience with running accounts and knowledge of legal/Medical costs. This role offers a
lot of freedom for personal and professional growth.
Responsibilities:

• Preparing income statements, balance sheets and other financial documents
• Measuring the company’s financial performance based on financial records
• Identifying problem areas and presenting recommendations to company management
• Supervising the internal accounting team
• Performing audits of departments within the organisation
• Overseeing other aspects of financial operations such as bookkeeping and payroll
• Evaluating and monitoring financial information systems and recommending improvements where needed
• Communicating and interpreting financial data to non-financial managers
• Processing invoices onto the system each day and pay them each week/day on a payment run
• Bank reconciliations
• Responsible for allocating client receipts and identifying what they represent
• Identifying unallocated funds
• Processing BACS payments onto the bank
• Processing Bills and Client to Office Transfers
• Dealing with residual client balances
• Closing and archiving files
• Running of internal reports for month end/general housekeeping of accounts

Personal requirements:

• 3+ years’ experience as a Legal Cashier
• Experience in Management accounts
• Bank reconciliations
• Experience using Proclaim (Desirable)
• Full UK Licence and own vehicle - Some travel is required for this role
