Guildford Accountancy & Finance team are seeking another Legal Cashier to join their expanding team at an award winning, top 100 local legal firm with modern offices, a family friendly feel, established Company that has a 5-star rated service.
This permanent role is ideally suited to an existing Legal Cashier who is seeking the next step in their career within a legal organisation.
Vacancy Details
• Salary £27-35,000 PA (Depending on experience)
• Full time: Monday – Thursday, 08:30 – 17:30, Friday 08:30-17.00
• 25-27 Days Holiday PA (depending on Christmas closing)

• Location: Guildford Centre (Due to location parking is unavailable on site, local options available or train station is 5 minutes’ walk from the offices)
Duties include:
• Taking responsibility for a company’s financial matters and interests.
• Consulting with clients, law firms, and businesses on financial concern.
• Scrutinising large transactions.
• Assisting in the planning of a business or client’s financial strategies.
• Recording all transactions in the appropriate manner.
• Dealing with clients when receiving payments.
• Keeping track of all banking on a daily basis and managing the accounts system.
• Dealing with all invoices and ensuring they are paid on time.
• Ensuring the efficient operation of the firms PAYE scheme.
• To assist in the sending of monies by electronic transfer using CHAPS
The ideal candidate:
• You will need to demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team and maintain professional relationships.
• You will need to be able to express yourself both in person and in writing.
• As you will be working with money, you will need to demonstrate a high level of accuracy.
• You will need to have sound judgement and demonstrate a logical decision-making process when dealing with problems.
• You should be an organised individual with the ability to manage your own workload.
• Most of your tasks will be carried out electronically, so you will need a good level of computer literacy, especially with spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Excel.
• Experience of FinTec & other practice management systems
