SalaryOur client is a management consultancy working with a niche set of established clients. The company has a small head count group with everyone working independently from home; there are no offices. They support businesses in the e-commerce and gaming sectors and is looking to hire a lawyer to support the legal and compliance department.
The role will be broad with a focus on corporate and commercial matters including commercial contracts, IT, IP, compliance (KYC), GDPR. This will involve:
- drafting, negotiating, and reviewing all kind of commercial contracts and documents (merchant processing agreements, T&Cs, Privacy/ cookies policies, NDAs, service agreements, licences, joint ventures, consultancy agreements, loan agreements, etc.)
- advising on companies' incorporation in diverse jurisdictions, drafting of Board/Shareholders resolutions, liaising with Directors, UBO, notaries, solicitors and other legal and accounting service providers, bank account opening, dealing with banks' requests and companies and individual's KYC review
Candidate Requirements
- Must be a UK trained and qualified solicitor with a minimum of 2 years' PQE.
- An understanding of the payment/banking/crypto-currency area would be a plus, but is not a pre-requisite
- You should be a strong team player and have excellent attention to detail, whilst possessing a commercial and risk aware skillset
- Ability to work FULLY REMOTE is extremely important
This is a permanent role for 5 days per week plus holidays. As a UK qualified solicitor, you may be based anywhere in the UK or abroad, but able to work on UK hours.
