About the role
We currently have a great development opportunity for someone to increase their H&S knowledge, experience, and confidence by working within University Health and Safety (H&S) team on a secondment basis.
This role will involve but not be limited to performing inspections, supporting with accident investigations, improving written and technical systems and processes, analysing data, developing awareness briefings and reports, assisting staff with completion of assessments including risk assessments, DSE and COSHH. It is in part a customer facing role and you need to be confident providing in-person and remote or virtual assistance.
What you can bring
The successful candidate will have experience of providing advice, guidance, or support in relation to Health and Safety matters and have excellent oral and written communication skills. You will have H&S processes and data management skills, including analysis of complex data, report writing, process co-ordination.
