Form of workA highly regarded Buxton based law firm is currently looking to recruit a Legal Practice Manager to ensure the smooth running of the office on a day to day basis. You will be working as part of a friendly team in a modern and forward thinking law firm that has an excellent reputation within the region with a high staff retention.
This is a new role for the firm as the managing partner is due to retire. My client would like an experienced Legal Practice Manager to come and manage the day to day running of the office and general HR.
- Hours - Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm
- Location - Buxton
- Salary - Competitive DOE
Experience required - must have worked as a Practice Manager ideally from a legal background
Duties include:
- Ensuring the firm is up to date with regulatory requirements
- Ensuring the file reviews are dealt with on time
- Assisting with appraisals for all departments
- Handling the day-to-day operational aspects of the firm, such as office management, facilities, and technology
- Overseeing recruitment, onboarding and performance reviews for all staff
- Handling holidays, sickness, and general HR
- Ensuring a smooth running of the office on a day to day basis
