About the team
Our Litigation Support team is focused on effective legal delivery, collaborating with our Lines of Service to provide litigation and/or pre-litigation based services for clients, primarily in the following spaces: a. Corporate/legal investigations (i.e professional employee misconduct, whistleblowing, social media complaints) on behalf of prominent global clients b. Assisting and/or providing managed review services in relation to legal proceedings (i.e document review, evidence presentation) in sync with our internal advisory teams (i.e in-house legal, eDiscovery/Forensics)
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience as a reviewer or senior reviewer on medium to large scale legal document reviews
- Relativity experience
- Able to manage resourcing for projects
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience creating query/privilege log for reviewed documents each day
- Stakeholder management experience
About the role
We are looking for an Evidence Review Lead with experience guiding teams of paralegals, lawyers and/or other compliance/regulatory professionals through the document review process. You will draw upon your experience of both your expertise and your ability to use document review platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the allocation of document review team members, alongside our internal resourcing stakeholders, with consideration of associated costs
- Build an effective talent pool for deployment across a diverse range of document reviews
- Liaison between either our in-house or external Forensics/eDisclosure teams, in order to achieve the best results possible for our clients
- Monitor costs per review and identify trends with regards to project spend for report purposes, and a focus on completing projects within scope
- Leverage experience and ability to use document review platforms to provide up-to-date metrics on projects (e.g reports, dashboards)
- Address queries and potential challenges in relation to team member availability
- Check-in with team members, positioning yourself as an outlet for support, addressing any potential challenges for effective delivery output
- Provide project specific training on use of document review platforms to team members
- Create and/or contribute to literature in relation to project training and processes where necessary
- Effective management of all aspects of workload, identifying escalation points where necessary
- Assess current delivery practices and suggest pragmatic alternative solutions with appropriate stakeholders where necessary
