A highly regarded full service law firm with multiple offices across Wiltshire are looking to appoint a Legal Secretary to support the busy conveyancing team.
Based from the Warminster office this firm has a strong focus on professionalism, integrity, and client satisfaction.
Job Description:
They are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join the team. The ideal candidate will provide vital administrative support to our conveyancing department and contribute to the smooth functioning of the legal operations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist conveyancing solicitors with all aspects of residential and commercial property transactions.
- Prepare and draft legal documents, including contracts, leases, and deeds.
- Manage communication with clients, real estate agents, and other parties involved in transactions.
- Organize and maintain legal files and documentation in an orderly manner.
- Coordinate appointments, meetings, and deadlines for the conveyancing team.
- Conduct research on property titles, land registry, and other relevant matters.
- Handle incoming inquiries and provide excellent customer service to clients.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Legal Secretary, preferably in conveyancing or real estate law.
- Proficiency in legal terminology and documentation related to property transactions.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
