Our Leisure Assistants have a really important job – to make our members feel great!
As a leisure Assistant you will use your ability to build rapport with our members to deliver fantastic customer service and club engagement. This is a service based role where you will deliver Gym classes, Fitness plans, sales tours to prospective members and the day to day running of the club to ensure club presentation standards are high at all times. Whether your on reception, in the gym or by the pool you will be our health club role model in setting the service standards bar very high.
Don’t worry - you don’t need lots of experience, in fact we desire you to have a ‘CIMSPA’ recognised Level 2 Fitness qualification, Emergency Pool responder and First aid at work however if not, providing you have bags of enthusiasm and passion and we will take care of the rest and offer you the chance to work towards the qualifications needed! We believe any age is the right age, so whether you are looking to kick start your career with us for the first time or if you are now retired and looking to stay active to inspire others, we want to hear from you.
You will need to be fully flexible on shift patterns as our members like to train day and night and it goes without saying that we want you to be passionate about health and fitness. We will invest our time in you and provide any training that is necessary.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 16 per week
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Leicester LE19 1WQ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Education:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- Fitness instructor: 1 year (preferred)
