Lettings Consultant
Salary: £32,651 per annum
Contract: 6-month fixed term contract with possibility of extension, Full time - 35 hours per week
Location: 113 Uxbridge Road, Ealing W5 5TL with hybrid working

About the role
We’re searching for a Lettings Consultant to join our friendly and hard-working team at A2Dominion. You will be responsible to let void properties within target and thereby maximize the rental income / minimize void loss. You would be expected to travel between Staines and London Borrows for this role.
Key responsibilities:
- Allocate and offer homes in accordance with policies, procedures, and nomination agreements
- Assess potential tenants in terms of suitability and affordability
- Reject potential tenants where a clear risk is identified (in terms of suitability and affordability)
- Organise virtual viewings for all prospective tenants
- Organise and attend viewings for all prospective tenants
- Prepare all paperwork and conduct the tenancy sign-up meeting in accordance with policies and procedures (virtually or in person)
- Maintain accurate records and database information for all aspects of the void process
- Establish and develop effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders of A2Dominion
- Assist other Lettings Teams, to cover re-let patches whilst other Lettings Consultants are on leave and other roles as required
- Responsible for working with the Decant team and ensuring a smooth process for residents
- Responsible for resolving customer queries promptly, including liaison with the A2Dominion Operational Teams, residents, Local Authorities, and void contractors as required.
More about you:
For this role, we’re looking for someone with the following:
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Maths and English (Grades A*- C)
- Experience of working in a customer focused environment
- Experience working with allocations and lettings service
- Knowledge of Government legislation of homelessness and lettings
- Knowledge of the technical aspects of void maintenance
- Experience of working to deadlines
- Responsive to change
- Full UK driving licence including the use of own motor vehicle is required
