Your new role
As part of the technical team, you'll be working with cutting-edge technologies and will have the opportunity to develop a wide range of new skills on the job. Your primary role will be to provide 2nd/3rd line remote support and act as the escalation point for any escalated cases from 1st/2nd line, dealing with complex issues until completion. You will work to deliver on Service Level Agreements and ensure that all support cases are regularly updated, all while developing and maintaining support documentation on customer sites as well as an internal knowledge base.
What you'll need to succeedThe standout candidate will be able to take the lead on any high-level issues and bring this to a resolution within the shortest possible time frame. You will have experience with Office 365 and supporting products (Exchange Online, Sharepoint, etc), administrative tools such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy, and knowledge of Windows Server Technologies. You will be able to demonstrate competency in supporting security appliances (SonicWALL, Watchguard, Fortinet), have experience with Hyper-V/VMWare, an understanding of network technologies and previous experience with Azure. You will also have had exposure to the side of firewalls and networks.
