As the Production Engineer you will:
- Provide technical leadership to production team members
- Co-ordinate process related fault finding and issue resolutions
- Utilize lean techniques, experience and knowledge to enhance manufacturing processes by improving yield, quality, throughput and productivity
- Work with the production team to drive efficiency advances within manufacturing & operational processes
- Liaise with 3rd party contractors when required to solve problems and develop processes
- Train production operators to improve their process knowledge and technical problem-solving skills
You will have:
- HNC in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronic Manufacturing or related Electrical Engineering discipline, or a time-served Electrical Maintenance Technician with suitable experience in a production environment
- At least five years’ experience in ideally a food manufacturing environment
- A proven track record in production technical processes, continuous improvement / OEE
- Experience with PLCs, variable speed drives and fault-finding
