About the role
Key details:
- Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
- Wage: £6.40 per hour
- Location: Riverbridge House Street, Anchor Boulevard, Dartford, DA2 6SL
- Apprenticeship Standard:Level 4 Sales Executive
- Duration: 18 months
Overview of the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a confident, organised and detail orientated individual to join our team as a Sales Executive Apprenticeship. You will have a variety of sales and administrative duties.
Key responsibilities:
- Research and Outbound Calling: Make proactive outbound calls targeting both prospects and current customers to raise awareness, build relationships and secure appointments. There will be a particular focus to research and make outbound calls to construction projects to help solve problems on site, this will be supporting your assigned External Sales Representative and relevant Internal Account Manager.
- Lead Generation, Appointment Booking and Opportunity Hunting: using tools such as WhatsApp, LinkedIn, video conferencing, online databases, to identify and generate quality leads and opportunities that can be converted into appointments, essentially managing the diary of your External Sales Representative.
- Exceed Set KPI’s: focusing on quality conversations, opportunities gained, and booking appointments.
- CRM Management: Support the External Sales Representatives by maintaining and updating contacts, accounts, and projects in the CRM system. Including logging of notes and following up External Sales Representatives visits, actioning any associated admin.
- Partner with assigned External Sales Representative: focused on opening new accounts, identifying opportunities and building existing business relationships to drive growth. You will be the External Sales Representative’s business development support so will assist with Mailmerges, Admin tasks, pulling reports/spend reports and other tasks to aid those on the road to be focused.
Candidate Requirements
Skills & Personal Qualities Required:
- Proven experience in a similar role with a strong focus on Business Development, preferably in a fast-paced sales environment, and be able to stay organised in this type of environment.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and other relevant software applications.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications Required:
- GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 4) essential
- GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade 4) essential
