About this opportunity
We are seeking to recruit two energetic and highly motivated individuals, with great customer service skills, for two zero hours posts to support our hard-working team in Penrith Library.
The role is extremely varied and requires individuals to:
- Be the first point of contact for customers.
- Provide information and deal effectively with customer enquiries, including help with IT enquiries – face to face, over the phone, written and digital.
- Carry out general library duties, help with the security of buildings and basic health and safety tasks.
- Support a wide range of events and activities for all ages.
- Work as part of a team.
Successful candidates will have experience of delivering excellent customer service and supporting others in achieving this, effective communication skills, you will enjoy working as part of a team and will have a positive outlook to service development and change.
