Job Title: Licensed Conveyancer/Solicitor
Responsibilities:
- Manage files for both freehold and leasehold properties from initial instruction to completion, ensuring all enquiries are addressed, title issues resolved accurately, searches conducted and verified, and mortgage conditions met.
- Conduct title checking and handle complex transactions, acting as a mentor to junior solicitors and conveyancing assistants.
- Prepare contracts, supporting documents, and review official copy documents.
- Liaise with various stakeholders including clients, clients' agents, borrowers, asset managers, buyers' solicitors, and internal departments.
- Address post-completion issues and ensure accuracy in post-completion processes.
- Utilize case management systems daily and handle client billing ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Skills & Experience:
- At least 2 years PQE with experience in residential conveyancing or commercial conveyancing.
- Experience with buy-to-let, leasehold properties, and corporate clients is essential.
- Experience in commercial conveyancing is advantageous.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and meeting tight deadlines.
- Proactive with commercial and financial awareness.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with a strong team ethos.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Conveyancer or Solicitor qualified to practice in England and Wales.
