Job Title: Licensed Conveyancer/Solicitor

Responsibilities:

1. Manage files for both freehold and leasehold properties from initial instruction to completion, ensuring all enquiries are addressed, title issues resolved accurately, searches conducted and verified, and mortgage conditions met.
2. Conduct title checking and handle complex transactions, acting as a mentor to junior solicitors and conveyancing assistants.
3. Prepare contracts, supporting documents, and review official copy documents.
4. Liaise with various stakeholders including clients, clients' agents, borrowers, asset managers, buyers' solicitors, and internal departments.
5. Address post-completion issues and ensure accuracy in post-completion processes.
6. Utilize case management systems daily and handle client billing ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Skills & Experience:

1. At least 2 years PQE with experience in residential conveyancing or commercial conveyancing.
2. Experience with buy-to-let, leasehold properties, and corporate clients is essential.
3. Experience in commercial conveyancing is advantageous.
4. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and meeting tight deadlines.
5. Proactive with commercial and financial awareness.
6. Excellent communication and organizational skills with a strong team ethos.

Qualifications:

1. Licensed Conveyancer or Solicitor qualified to practice in England and Wales.
