Voquent.com seeks a meticulous and energetic personality to join our localisation team in Glasgow, UK.
In close liaison with our business team and worldwide customer base, you will be central to fulfilling projects requiring translation, dubbing, localisation and accessibility services.

Fast typing skills, a good ear for accents, responsiveness and attention to detail are essential requisites.
Confidence in your written and oral skills is vital as you must professionally represent the company to clients, translators, voice actors, and other sub-contractors.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Experience with translation, localisation or audiovisual projects
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and cope with pressure
- Detail-oriented and organised multi-tasker
- Confident and willing to ask tough questions to get results
- Active listening, empathy and problem-solving
- Rapid keyboard typing ability
- Excellent written and oral communication
DESIRABLE SKILLS
- Experience with translation memory tools like memoQ
- Experience with project management or CRM systems
- Experience in coordinating multiple complex projects
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be a highly communicative, engaging, and confident ambassador of Voquent, professionally representing the company in all written and oral communications with customers and suppliers.
- Demonstrate an explicit knowledge and understanding of Voquent’s service offerings, arrangements, and obligations concerning managing and coordinating sub-contractors such as voice actors, translators, subtitles, etc.
- Ensure that all materials and services supplied to customers are of the highest quality standard and delivered within time-sensitive project timescales.
- Manage customer expectations and provide guidance and assistance to help them make reasonable decisions about existing projects and contracts with Voquent.
- Support the business team on bespoke projects, resourcing and testing new suppliers.
- Take the initiative to identify enhancements to all project-related processes to improve service delivery.
- Oversee the quality control process, including linguistic review, audio synchronisation, and subtitle accuracy, to ensure the final deliverables meet industry standards and client expectations.
- Manage localisation budgets, track project costs, and negotiate rates with external vendors to optimise project profitability.
- Conduct post-project evaluations, gather feedback, and continuously implement lessons learned to improve localisation processes and workflows.
