The primary objective of the role is to act as the subject matter expert for marine operations and support O&M sites in the selection and vetting of vessels. Belonging to the Global Planning & Projects department and reporting directly to Head of Planning & Projects, the O&M Senior Marine Manager will be responsible for the management of the interfaces with key internal stakeholders for the effective management of risks. The O&M Marine Assurance Manager will be responsible for ensuring the lessons learnt are captured and applied as required. 

What you'll be doing 

You will develop, implement and update as required marine assurance processes and procedures for the acceptance of vessels working on our operational sites. Ensure the process and procedures remain fit for purpose.

You'llparticipate in tender processes for Framework Agreement for Marine Services from a technical perspective, including but not limited to identification of potential suppliers, preparation of Scope of Works and inputs to the technical evaluation. 

Also, develop, implement and update as requiredminimum requirements for vessels based on lessons learnt, updates to global and local legislations and industry best practice and site-specific requirements. 

What you'll bring 

• Marine Engineer, Master Mariner, Naval Architect or equivalent master's degree 

• IT literate with the ability to operate MS Office systems and other IT based project management software. 

• Flexible to travel overseas 

• Fluent in English 

• Previous Marine Management experience 

• Experience of offshore sector
