Your new role The organisation are embarking on a programme of transformation; to modernise the organisation and drive efficiency. They are looking to build a team of Senior Project Managers to help deliver transformational change. The Senior Project Managers will deliver a range of projects which help us to achieve the goals laid out in our corporate plan and annual operating plans. Some of the priority projects include: 1. Systems and Information, 2. Establishing procedures, directions and systems to back up our new regulatory framework, and 3. Customer Service and communications review. Each priority area will be supported by a business owner and project board. The Senior Project Manager will: Work with the business to define the objectives, scope and dependencies of the work. Ensure strong internal governance and procedures, including resource and budget planning. Run the project on a day-to-day basis on behalf of the business owner. Develop and maintain a project plan, monitor and report on progress. Manage risks and issues and escalate or take corrective action as appropriate. Engage with stakeholders including internal users and suppliers as well as external stakeholders such as the Scottish Government.
