Job ID: 2610867 | Amazon UK Services Ltd. Amazon Supply Chain forms the backbone of the fastest growing e-commerce business in the world. The EU S&OP team forecasts inventory flows to and from each country - what Amazon receives from its vendors/sellers, and what it ships from its Fulfillment Centers (FCs) to the customers. We are also responsible for measuring S&OP performance, and driving continuous improvement in the tools and methods used by S&OP teams to plan local networks, optimizing for reliability, speed, cost and sustainability. We work closely with Supply Chain Optimization Technology (SCOT) teams in North America, who own the systems and the inputs we rely on to plan our networks, and with our internal EU stakeholders in Transportation, Retail and Finance teams. If you are someone who has shown success in analyzing, diving deep in complex data, streamlining and identifying process improvement opportunities and pioneering new ways to do things, we’d like to talk to you. This position is preferably based out of Luxembourg or London (UK) office. Strong data analysis skills, ability to produce, interpret and draw conclusions from data Bachelor's degree in a scientific subject / mechanical engineering / supply chain management Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and SQL Preferably an independent problem solver that can make high quality judgments and decisions quickly with excellent organization skills Detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects.
