More about the role:
Overall Purpose of the Role
This role is responsible for supporting the both the retail and lounge areas on event days as well as the planning for events at OVO Arena Wembley one of London’s iconic music venues, averaging 120 concerts a year.
Key Accountabilities
Operations
- To maintain and keep all storage locations and warehouses to par levels.
- Provide assertive day to day leadership, management, and guidance of warehouse and distribution.
- Ensure that robust and effective logistics-related safety and regulatory employee training programs are maintained.
- Drive and facilitate the company’s strategy to cultivate a fully engaged workforce.
- Maintain the order flow/rotation of all products and manage the delivery process.
- Evaluate and review the company’s logistics operations business practices, update, and develop process documentation, streamline opportunities, and eliminate non-value-added activities.
- Drive and facilitate activities that improve coordination and communication within the logistics department and all other operational departments.
- Oversee and ensure all logistics-related operations comply with applicable environmental, health, safety, and other regulatory rules and regulations.
- Ensure the maintenance of all catering equipment and life cycle management.
- To train team and over-see beer line cleans for the arena.
- Makes personal recommendations based on knowledge and experience to improve products and service.
