We have vacancies for friendly and caring people to join our happy team of Lunchtime Supervisory Assistants. The successful applicants will help to provide our children with a positive, healthy and safe environment making lunchtimes an enjoyable experience for everyone. We are a large junior school with sixteen classes and spacious grounds.
Duties will include:
- Ensuring children are safe and secure at lunchtime
- Promoting ‘Positive Play’ for all children at lunchtime, helping organise and play games to support children in play activities
- Supervising children throughout lunchtime including as they move between the dining hall, playground, field, classrooms or other parts of the school premises
- Supervising children while eating, cleaning spillages and surfaces as required
- Being a positive role model, promoting excellent behaviour
- Providing welfare support including First Aid duties (depending on training)
- Promoting high standards of health and safety
- Maintaining appropriate confidentiality regarding information relating to children

The successful candidate will be required to work 5.85 hours per week 11:55am to 1:05 pm, Monday to Friday, term time only (39 weeks per year).
The salary will be based on experience and will start within Hampshire’s A Grade range of £11.50 to £11.59 per hour (£3008 to £3033 per year).
