AddressMasstemps Are currently recruiting for a SENIOR MACHINE/TOOL SETTER/Mill Operator to operate and run Tube forming rolling mill machine on behalf of our busy client.
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tool Setter to join our team. As a Tool Setter, you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining various tools and equipment used in our manufacturing processes. This is a crucial role that ensures the efficient operation of our production lines.
Duties:
- Set up and adjust tools, dies, and fixtures according to specifications
- Inspect tools for damage or wear and perform necessary repairs or replacements
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure proper tooling setup and alignment
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed
- Troubleshoot tooling issues and implement corrective actions
- Maintain accurate records of tooling changes and adjustments
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Experience: (Training can be provided if you have most of the skills)
- Engineering experience in press brake machine or similar cut to length line.
- Basic knowledge of electrical engineering also an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of mig welding process.
- Knowledge of steel chemical make –up an advantage.
- Use of Overhead cranes 16 & 10 x tonne
