Maintenance Contracts Officer
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Contracts Officer to join a leading organisation based in Belfast.
This is a Full-Time, Permanent Position.
Salary of £38,273 – £45,611 per annum (dependent on experience)
Job Role:
You will be responsible for the oversight, co-ordination, and assurance of maintenance contractors for planned and reactive maintenance as part of the Estate Customer Services Team.
Essential Criteria:
• A minimum of one year’s recent experience at management level within a property/construction or estate management role.
• Experience in a management role relating to estates engineering services operating across a significant estate.
• Educated to degree level in building, mechanical, electrical or building services engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience of managing technical engineering/building planned maintenance contracts including budget management.
• Experience of leading corporate maintenance planning processes.
• Demonstrable experience of developing and implementing operational plans for engineering services.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel to other sites as well as work outside of normal hours when required.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Work collaboratively as a member of the Department to ensure an integrated approach to the planning, development and delivery of services, including leading and contributing to relevant inter functional area initiatives in line with the Departments priorities.
• To be accountable for Health and Safety and Welfare arrangements within post holder’s area of responsibility and report on progress against improvement plans.
• Represent functional area at key committees and working groups.
• Provide a consistent and professional service to internal and external customers, ensuring compliance with relevant policies, procedures and standards.
